- DescriptionGeneral Description: Electroplated copy of an English cup and cover of 1602-3 in silver gilt belonging to Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. The base of the stand is stamped in relief with a floral decoration. The central boss on the stem has three brackets which support the body. The cup is decorated with etched patterns including scrolls and skulls, with the name and arms of John Champernowne pricked in. On the cover sits an armed figure with a shield. (, )
