General Description: Narrative of Captain Cook's second voyage of discovery. The two volumes document his voyage towards the South pole and Pacific during which time he visits Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. It was on this voyage that Cook befriended Omai who returned with him to England. The work contains 47 plates, 10 maps, 2 plans.
