General Description: A print showing a biblical scene. Two women who claim to be the mother of a baby (seen on the ground) stand before King Solomon, who has been asked to judge which is the mother. The king has asked the baby to be 'split in two' in an attempt to reveal the true feelings of the mother. The woman seen pleading with the king to save the baby would be declared the true mother of the child. (, )
