Researcher Description: For sorcery, called a marupai. Features a pig or dog design. Covered in carvings to encourage the spirits. Made from a dwarf coconut. Would be worn in a bag around the neck. Usually used as a hunting charm, which occasionally meant people. (Joshua Bell, UEA, 2007)
