General Description: Heavy tankard with base and body made of heavy brass. Fixed onto lid, handle and base are moulded electroplated panels. Around the body of the tankard is another electroplated panel in a darker colour, depicting in moulded relief a Bacchic party in the woods. On the top of the tankard lid is a small figure of Neptune holding a triton. Possibly by Ferdinand Barbedienne. (, )
