Description: Nine quartz crystals, reputedly part of a sorcerer's outfit, from the Maive District of New Guinea, Melanesia. (, )
: Possibly from the sorcerer described in 'Papuan Pictures'. From the Eastern Gulf (Maive or Maiva?). Contained pieces of cloth, stone, coral, quartz and bone. The stones are river stones. Some of the quartz pieces have decorative binding, purpose unkown. The cloth is trade cloth. (Joshua Bell, UEA, 2007)
